Reviews
Great venue, lovely staff, and great performers. I especially enjoy the Manfords comedy clubs, which are definitely top quality comedy. Great to be able to enjoy the show in a modern theatre with a great atmosphere. Definitely recommend a visit.
The most brilliant theatre! A real gem of a place and a credit to all the volunteers who run it. Came to see National Theatre's Dear England last night, which was just splendid. Ice creams and sweets dead cheap, but the craft beers are wildly expensive. Don't let this put you off, though!
A good night with the Houghton Weavers, all singing along to some old favourites. Shame we ended on singing 'White Christmas' when we'd just passed the event & some of us a bit tired of hearing it! Also maybe the 'Teddy Boy' & 'turkey' numbers were a bit dated.
Thank-you, again though, had good seats & to all the volunteers for their hard work.
A great show from Comedysportz. Most people are nice, but some of the volunteers are a bit militant. Can't add photos because they're forbidden. Even though social media is a thing and free advertising...
I've been, many times, and it's brilliant. A good variety of shows. We recently went to watch the Andre Rieu Christmas concert on screen, which we really enjoyed.
Great small venue, all seats have a good view of the stage. Bar available and the queue at the interval was quickly served in time for the performance. Excellent staff on hand if you need any help
I recently went to see Goodnight Mr Tom, along with family members. My brother played the part of Charlie Ruddles.( so proud of him) The whole cast was absolutely fabulous and made it the most enjoyable evening I have spent in a long time. Its a lovely little theatre. Wonderful!!!
Great little venue, staff nice, drinks reasonable. Dave Spikey spot on as ever!
Another 1st for us and it will not be our last. In no particular order I list the benefits and features (can't you tell I was in sales?).
1. Such friendly and helpful staff.
2. Free parking after 6pm right outside on street and St Mary's car park. Plus all Chorley council car parks after 5pm I believe are free.
3. Drinks, snacks and ice creams for £1 each average. Cheaper than Aldi!.
4. Good comfortable seats with well laid out tiered floor so great views.
5. Just a good size to be an intimate and ergonomic theatre.
6. A real mix of performances, something for everyone at affordable prices.
7. Overall a stress free enjoyable night out, what's not to like?.
Never had a bad night here, seen the lot plays, comedies, films & live music. Swing Commanders last week were excellent . Highly recommended venue
